WELA hosted the Tasmania Women in Conservation Leadership Intensive, bringing together 18 women from government, not-for-profits, business, and grassroots campaigns. Held over four transformative days at Spring Bay Mill in Triabunna, the group explored leadership, connection to Country, and the power of collective action in the face of ecological crisis.

Complex as it is to now feel an identity that I wasn’t raised from birth as, it also feels simple. Owning that I am a Gulidjan woman is an act of resistance, healing and truth.
