This August, WELA will be having its very own panel at the Byron Bay Writers Festival on Bundjalung County. The panel called “The Importance of Female Leadership – Imagine a world where women were at the centre of creating the solutions to our climate crisis. Would our planet and the decisions we make for future generations be different?” includes WELA’s own Victoria McKenzie-McHarg, Debra Dank, Jess Scully and is chaired by Ashley Hay.
