WELA Learning Circle: Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Join Us for a Special JEDI Circle: Intersectional Leadership

We invite you to our upcoming lunchtime JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Learning Circle to celebrate the closing of the year. This session will explore how intersectional leadership can help us address today’s overwhelming challenges, fostering hope beyond political uncertainty and polarities.

Join Asmaa Guedira, WELA’s Learning Designer and Diversity & Inclusion Lead, to discuss how we can collectively lead toward an inclusive and sustainable future, especially in times of polycrisis, highlighting the power of collective knowledge in driving hope and action.

What: WELA Learning Circle on Intersectional Leadership – an open conversation about decolonisation, intersectionality, and allyship in the environmental movement and beyond.
When: Wednesday, 4th December from 12:00pm to 1:00pm AEDT
(Start time of 11am in QLD, 11.30am in SA, 10.30am in NT and 9am in WA)
Where: Online via Zoom (RSVP to receive the link)

This WELA learning circle is dedicated to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) who identify as women and non-binary folks to talk openly and share experiences, stories, and practices in the environmental and social change movements. Allies are encouraged to attend and listen to deepen their practice and understanding.

We look forward to your participation in this conversation as we collectively work towards a more equitable and inclusive environmental movement.
