WELA Post election debrief session

WELA Post election debrief session

It’s time to take a breath – debrief, decompress and reflect.

This election season has been an emotionally overwhelming period for many. WELA will be hosting a post election debrief session on Wednesday 1 June 12:30pm – 1:30pm (AEST) online – a safe space for you to decompress, debrief and reflect on the events surrounding the election and its aftermath.

This relaxed session will invite participants to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences from the election season and include a guided discussion on managing climate grief, finding hope in community and explore the big question of, ‘what now?’ The session will be facilitated by WELA programs lead facilitator, Lou Duxbury who will be joined by special guest, Beth Hill, from Psychology for a Safe Climate, whose expertise in the psychology of climate change will help bring further insights to the conversation.
