Wai-Ling is a first-generation Chinese Malaysian migrant, fortunate to be educated in Australia, where she developed a passion for preserving our rich quality of life for future generations. With 18 years of experience in tax, accounting, and treasury at firms like Ernst & Young, Pitcher Partners, HSBC, Dentsu International, and currently serving as Tax Manager at SEEK, Wai-Ling brings a strong financial background to the table. Additionally, after spending a year shadowing the Board of Australians Investing in Women, Wai-Ling is inspired to challenge rigid gender norms affecting policies and investments. 

As a mother to three sons, Wai-Ling is dedicated to ensuring their generation inherits a better, more equitable world. When Wai-Ling is not tearing her hair out trying to find matching socks for the kids, she can be found power hiking while listening to podcasts or in child’s pose.
