WELA hosted the Tasmania Women in Conservation Leadership Intensive, bringing together 18 women from government, not-for-profits, business, and grassroots campaigns. Held over four transformative days at Spring Bay Mill in Triabunna, the group explored leadership, connection to Country, and the power of collective action in the face of ecological crisis.

Giving Circle grantee the Centre for Ecological Learning hosted the third event in their Malaami Conversations series, Wajaarr Yarning: Women Talking Earth. WELA’s Cherry Muddle joined the gathering on Gumbaynggirr Country, reflecting on the intimate circle and the shared connection to Earth.
