In May 2023, WELA ran a Leadership Intensive for Victorian Local Government supported by the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (NAGA).
Bringing together 19 women and gender diverse people engaged in local government who are working on climate and environmental issues, this WELA Intensive connected participants from urban and rural communities and highlighted the powerful impact that local government changemakers are having.
